The New Testament lecture hall is a collection of New Testament texts used for biblical liturgy readings. The Lecture Greek writings of the New Testament are written in non- letter or minuscule letters on parchment , vellum , papyrus, or paper and date back to the 4th — 15th centuries.
Lectionaries are classified separately from the papyri of the New Testament , uncials and minuscules of the New Testament. At the same time, both the Gospels (Evangeliaria or Evangelistaria), Acts of the Apostles (Apostoli) and the Epistles of the Apostles (Praxapostoli) are indicated as lecturers, if the text in them is stated in the order of readings in the service (liturgy).
It is believed that the earliest lektionarii belong to the VI century.
Wettstein knew only 77 lecture halls of the New Testament. Gregory in 1909 consisted of 2,768 lecture codes.
According to the Institute for the study of texts of the New Testament , for today 2453 lecturers of the New Testament are known and cataloged. However, in the course of the work of the New Testament Manuscripts Center , a few more lecture notes were found.
