Markarov, Alexander Ashotovich

Aleksander Ashotovich Markarov ( July 27, 1950 , Baku , Azerbaijan SSR , USSR ) - Soviet and Russian footballer , striker , top scorer of the second league of domestic football (262 goals), all in all, he scored 284 goals. He spent almost his entire playing career at Dynamo Makhachkala . He was a convinced communist , but he himself quit the CPSU [1] . Father of football player and coach Mikhail Markarov .

Football career

He began his career at the children's school of Baku " Oilman ". At the age of 13, he got into the double game, then the Baku club played against the Moscow Dynamo . In 1971, Markarov arrived in Makhachkala. He spent more than 10 years in the Makhachkala club while playing at Dynamo, except perhaps in Dynamo Tbilisi and Kiev . Beskov really wanted to see Alexander both in Dynamo and Spartak . After completing his career, Alexander Markarov was very sorry that he had not moved to the top club.

Post-Game Career

After his career in Dynamo Makhachkala, he worked for eight years as a football referee, after which he returned to the field as an Anji player [2] .
