As she said, the reason for striving to become a seiyu was when my mother sent her to buy a fashion magazine (ViVi), and she mistakenly bought a seiyu magazine.

In high school, she played basketball for a while. Also, in the all-Japanese exam in Japanese and English, she took 10th place.

After school, in parallel with her studies at the institute, she attended the Nichinare Seiyu Institute. Upon graduation, she entered practice in a theater troupe associated with I'm enterprise, and later in the company itself.

She made her debut in anime in 1999. Since then, she has played many roles, playing characters of various types. Especially often she happened to play in the anime directed by Simbo Akiyuki (新房 昭 之). This is, in particular, Pani Poni Dash! , Bakemonogatari , Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei , Dance in the Vampire Bund , etc.

In 2002, she and her colleagues from the same I'm enterprise organized the seiku unit Mikkusu JUICE (み っ く す JUICE). In addition to Saito, Morinaga Rika , Ueda Kan , Nakahara Mai entered it.
