History
The 2006 season was unsuccessful for Tulevik, the team had to assert its right to play in Meistrilig in the playoff games for demotion in the classroom. As a result of the two-match confrontation with the Kalev club, Viljandi was supposed to fly to Esiliga . However, due to the fact that the clubs " Maag " and " Tammeka " merged into one, the team retained a residence permit in "Meistralig". The club played twice in the final of the Estonian Cup in 1999 and 2000, and twice lost to the Tallinn “ Levadia ” - (2: 3) and (0: 2). The highest achievement in the Estonian championship is silver in 1999.
In 2015, the club returned to the Premium League of Estonia , since in November 2014, in the transitional games with the Lokomotiv football club, both games ended in a draw - home 0-0, and away 1-1. Thanks to a goal scored in a foreign field, the team received the right to play in the major league. At the end of the season, the club took last place with 22 points [1] . In 2016, the team ahead of schedule became the champion of the first league in Estonia and the next season returned to the major league [2] .
On December 30, 2017, Marco Crystal [3] became the new head coach, but in April of the same year he left his post and was replaced by the Sander Post [4] .
