Central Research Institute of Control Systems

The Central Scientific Research Institute of Management Systems and Economics (TsNIISU) was formed by order of the Ministry of Engineering dated February 12, 1970 No. 31 by decision of the State Committee of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on Science and Technology dated December 2, 1969 No. 64. The head organization of the industry for the implementation of computer technology and ACS systems , developments were carried out to automate settlement planning for the USSR State Planning Commission . The developments were carried out with the participation of the Computing Center of the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences , the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR , the Academy of Sciences of the BSSR , as well as a number of large universities of the USSR. The team of specialists consisted of more than 1,500 people, including 20 candidates of sciences; in the period after the restructuring, the number of employees decreased. In 1994 , the institute was corporatized and transformed into the Open Joint-Stock Company Joint-Stock Company Central Research Institute of Management Systems. [2]
