Pacific Marshmallow [1] or Hetoproct Pacific [2] ( lat. Goldia pacifica ) - a butterfly from the family Lycaena . Previously, the species belonged to the genus Chaetoprocta .

Description
Wingspan 36-44 mm. Fore wings on top are dark brown with a dark apex of the posterior angle and a dark spot between the first and second cubital veins. Low tide only in the area outside the discal vein. Transverse blue strokes are located along the outermost edge of the wing. The tail on the hind wing is long, thin, 4.5 - 5.5 mm long. The underside of the wings is silver-white. Brown discal spots stand out on both wings. The postdiscal strip is divided into spots located between the veins. Outside of it, another 2 pass, bordered, like spots, with whitish rims. On the hind wing at the hind corner there are 2 orange spots, the front of which has a black dash in the center. Proboscis yellow.
Range
Southern Primorye - Blue Ridge , 30 km from the village of Chernyshevki, Anuchinsky District, from where it was described in 1984 .
Habitats
Met in a mixed valley forest.
Flight Time
Butterflies are found from early June to mid-July.
Strength
Special surveys were not carried out. Given the extremely small range, probably very low, it is limited mainly by natural factors.
Security Notes
It is listed under the name of Hetoproct Pacific ( Chaetoprocta pacifica ) in the Red Book of Russia (category I - endangered species).
