Vishnevskoe ( Belor. Vishneўskae ) is a lake in the north-west of Belarus , in the Stracha River Basin (a tributary of the Viliya ), in the group of Svirsky Lakes . Located on the territory of the Vileika district of the Minsk region , 32 kilometers north-west of the city of Vileyka , on the border of the Myadel district of the Minsk region and the Smorgon district of the Grodno region . Area 9.97 km², length 4.38 km, maximum width 3.52 km. The greatest depth is 6.3 meters, average 2 meters, coastline length 13.6 km, water volume 19.79 million m³. The catchment area is 56.2 km².

Basin structure
The residual basin , of a rounded shape, is slightly elongated from southwest to northeast. Slopes 2-3 meters high, covered with pine forest . The northeastern slope is represented by an ozovy ridge . The coastline is smooth, almost does not form bays and peninsulas. The shores in the eastern, northern and western parts are low, partially swamped and smoked; in the south - steep, about a meter high. The 5-50 meter wide floodplain is well defined along the entire coastline and is almost universally swamped and consumed. The bottom is flat, to a depth of 1.5 meters is lined with sand and clay, deeper - with sapropel .
Water Mode
The incoming part of the water balance of the lake consists of the inflow of surface water along several streams and melioration channels , on the southern shores groundwater outlets are noted. In the north, the Smolka River flows, which connects Vishnevskoe Lake with Lake Svir . The lake can be attributed to the flow - the change of the entire volume of water occurs within one and a half years.
Eutrophic type . More than half of the lake area is occupied by aquatic vegetation. In the western part, narrow-leaved rogoz prevails along with reeds and horsetail . The northwestern and southeastern part of the lake is occupied by a curled rdest . Of the plants with floating leaves, there is a sprout and a floating rdest .
Use
The lake is intensively used by man. It serves as a recipient of bog waters from reclaimed areas of the catchment. Water is used by the population for domestic needs, watering livestock. Amateur fishing is widely developed. The ichthyofauna of the lake is represented by pike , crucian carp , perch and roach , and also Vishnevskoe was stocked with young carp , eel and grass carp .
The lake is a major recreation center. On the shore of the recreation center "Vishnevskoe" [2] and "Machine Tool Builder" [3] , tourist sites "Konkovo" and "Wide Moat" [4] . Conditions for diving have been created [5] . There is a rental of boats and catamarans [3] . The lake is part of the territory of the national park " Narochansky ".
