Problems of the city

The main problem of the city, soon a decade, is the insufficient capacity of sewage treatment plants. As a result of the oversight and presumably negligence of local and regional authorities, the heads of the city and district (who was previously the head of Aprelevka), the citizens of Kutukov and Baranov, when a significant amount of housing was put into operation, the treatment facilities did not increase accordingly. The reconstruction has been regularly talked about for some time now (at first, the presence of river pollution was denied and ridiculed by local court clackers), but the facts are such that insufficiently cleaned sewage discharges continue to flow into the river. At the peak, in 2011, measurements showed contamination of the river, exceeding the MPC for some indicators tens of thousands of times! As a result of such an infection, fish disappeared in the river (as early as 2010–2011), algae plants in the water almost completely die out.

From the 50s of the 20th century, gardeners settled along the river, who organized the irrigation of vegetable gardens from the river (and environmental taxes were regularly paid and paid). Since ancient times, the surrounding residents spent their free time walking around the meadows and the banks of the river, swimming in the pond. The city authorities for a long time, before the arrival of Tamarkin, did not warn residents about the danger of contact with water, because of which the residents received the strongest and most complicated infections. Insects by the river with bites continue to infect residents and today.

The history is strangely not very noticeable in the Prosecutor’s Office, but it has already been written into television films. The screen hero of the Major series, an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in one of the episodes deals with this case, a criminal violation of environmental legislation in Aprelevka.
