Haga (Palace)

Haga ( Swede. Haga slott ) - manor house in the estate Haga near Stockholm , built in 1802-05. Christopher Gjorvellem to accommodate the children of the Swedish king Gustav IV Adolf . For the sample, a choreographer’s villa was chosen near Drottningholm .

Since 1932, the palace served as the residence of Prince Gustav Adolf , father of the current King Charles XVI Gustav , born in the palace, but after his death in 1947 was empty and was transferred in 1966 to the Government of Sweden , which used it to host foreign heads of states arriving in Stockholm on visits.

Haga Manor was returned to the royal family on April 23, 2009 , to become the residence of the crown princesses Victoria and Daniel Westling after their marriage in 2010 [1] .
