Vasily Vasilyevich Gumenyuk , also known by the name Protivsikh ( Ukrainian: Vasil Vasilovich Antisіkh ; October 16, 1946 [1] , Oleshkov , Snyatynsky district , Ivano-Frankivsk region [2] ) - Ukrainian politician and businessman, president of the Ivano-Frankivsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry . He gained fame when the CEC of Ukraine was registered as a candidate for the presidency of Ukraine in the 2010 elections .

Biography
Vasily Gumeniuk began his career as a builder in 1964 [3] .
Education
After serving in the armed forces, he entered the University of Lviv , law faculty , which he graduated in 1975 .
Career
He worked as part of a student team in Surgut ( Tyumen region ), for their work one of the streets of Surgut was named Lviv [3] .
He was an instructor in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Executive Committee , from 1979 to 1984 he was an assistant to the head of the city of Yaremcha , and from 1984 to 1991, his head. He was a member of the CPSU .
He worked at the Ivano-Frankivsk customs. In the early years of independence, he was the permanent representative of Ukraine in the CIS . In 2006, he ran for the post of mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk. In 2007, he was registered as a candidate for people's deputies of Ukraine from the electoral bloc KUCHMA under No. 23.
He lives in Ivano-Frankivsk , is the president of the Ivano-Frankivsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry . Married.
2010 Election
On October 2, 2009, Vasily Gumenyuk changed his last name to Protyvsykh ( Ukrainian: Against All ) [4] , which can be translated into Russian as “ Against All ” (“ Against All ”), and on November 3, he submitted documents to the CEC of Ukraine for registration for the election President of Ukraine, which took place in 2010 [5] . Protyvsikh considered Yulia Tymoshenko his main rival in the elections [6] . In the 2010 presidential elections in Ukraine, gaining a total of 40 352 votes (0.16%), he took 13th place out of 18, and after the defeat he called on voters to vote for Viktor Yanukovych . In February 2010, he returned the previous name Gumenyuk. [7]
2012 Election
In August 2012 , the CEC of Ukraine registered Gumenyuk for the upcoming Parliamentary elections as an independent candidate for the people's deputies of Ukraine from Ivano-Frankivsk district No. 83 [8] .
