Geographical position

The city is located on the Goryn River [2] , the right tributary of the Pripyat River , on the border of the Khmelnitsky and Rivne Regions , 7 km from the Krivin railway station on the Shepetovka – Zdolbunov line .

History

XVI - XVIII century

  • 1542 - the first mention of the village Netishin in a letter to the Polish king Sigismund Augustus
  • 1566 - according to the II Lithuanian Statute, Netishin passed to the Lutsk district of the Volyn Voivodeship , in the 1570s he passed to the daughter of Beata Kosteletskaya Halska Ostrozhskaya, and eventually to Prince Vasily Ostrozhsky
  • 1603 - Neteshin passes into the possession of Alexander Ostrogsky. After the death of the prince in 1603, Netishin passed into the inheritance of his sons - Konstantin and Janusz Alexandrovich. Until their coming of age, Neteshin was led by their mother, Anna Kostchanka-Ostrog.
  • 1621 - Neteshin village passes to Princess A.-A. Khodkevich.
  • 1629 - in Netishyn about 50 buildings.
  • February 20, 1690 - Jan Alexander Konetspolsky transfers the Neteshin village to the hetman Stanislav Yan Yablonovsky
  • 1702 - Netishin enters the Krivinsky possession of the Yablonovsky princes, which is transferred to the Yablonovsky inheritance to Jan Stanislav (1669-1731), Stanislav-Vincent (1694-1754), Anthony-Barnavi (1732-1799).
  • March 27, 1793 - after the second partition of Poland, Neteshin becomes part of the Russian Empire .
  • 1793 - the village is included in the Izyaslav province .
  • 1797 - according to the decree of Emperor Paul I on the new administrative system, Neteshin is included in the Ostrog district of the Volyn province .

XIX century

  • beginning of the 19th century - the village is in the possession of Prince Maximilian Yablonovsky and is included in his Krivinsky estate as filivark - a complex of land and farm buildings on which the landowner maintained his own farm.
  • 1813 - Neteshin owns a little more than 4,930 morgues of land, which is approximately 2,700 hectares.
  • 1831 - Volyn covers the epidemic of cholera. During the period from March 29 to April 25, 9 people fell ill in the village of Neteshin, two recovered, one died and 6 remained sick.
  • July 1834 - a fire broke out in the village, for the organization of extinguishing which and the rescue of three villagers from the fire of the three villagers, the chairman of the Ostrog Zemstvo court G. Bylibu, the Volyn governor awarded a gold medal.
  • 1846 - Prince M. Yablonovsky dies, and the Krivinsky estate, together with Neteshin, is inherited by his son Vladislav. The latter, however, did not particularly follow its development and over time, everything fell into disrepair. Saving the Yablonovsky estate from complete collapse, the father-in-law of Vladislav Benedikt Tyshkevich bought out part of it (Pluzhnansky and Gilsky keys) in the name of his daughter.
  • February 7, 1856 - the village was sold at open auction at the Petersburg Guardian Council to Countess Natalya Pavlovna Zubova. Countess Zubova gave the acquired property to the management of various persons, the so-called "attorney", giving them broad powers in its management.
  • 1870 - in Netishyn, an Orthodox church in honor of St. George the Great Martyr and a similar belfry was built on the foundation stone of parishioners. Netishinskaya church was attributed to the parish of the village Velbovno .
  • 1882 - a rural cemetery is surrounded by a wooden fence, a wooden chapel was built with the money of the parishioners.
  • 1872 (according to other sources 1875 ) - a one-class school was founded in Neteshyn. Students were taught by a local priest and a separate teacher. In 1881, 20 young men studied there. The villagers themselves paid for their studies. The amount of payment for the year was 141 rubles according to some sources, and 100 rubles according to others.
  • February 8, 1885 - a one-class school was transformed into a parish church.

XX century

  • The beginning of the XX century - the village Neteshin becomes the property of Cecilia Isaakovna Levy.
  • December 30, 1922 - The First All-Union Congress of Soviets takes place, at which the Treaty on the Creation of the USSR is proclaimed and approved. Between the villages Netishin and Velbovno passes the state border between the Soviet Union and Poland . Neteshin remains part of Soviet Ukraine , cut off from his historic district center - Ostrog .
  • 1924 - a party organization is created in Netishyn, whose secretary is Franz Pashinsky. Soon, the Komsomol center and a pioneer organization appear.
  • 1929 - a collective farm was created in the village.
  • 1931 - a club was built, the premises of which also house a library and a seven-year school.
  • 1932 - 1933 - in Neteshyn, as throughout Soviet Ukraine, famine begins.
  • 1933 - 1937 - about 200 people were repressed in the village.
  • 1936 - The Neteshinskaya hydroelectric power station with a capacity of 325 kW was built, the village was electrified.
  • July 4, 1941 - The Nazis capture the Nazis; in the village a government is being created led by the headman Theodosius Savchuk.
  • January 18, 1944 - the village was liberated by the 287th Infantry Division of the 1st Ukrainian Front . The village had two Heroes of the Soviet Union - S. I. Dikalov and Eustathius Borsal. Both soon died from their wounds.
  • 1949 - the local hydroelectric station resumes operations. It was reconstructed, the power brought up to 3.8 million kW per year.
  • The beginning of the 60s - the high-voltage line Dobrotvor - Lutsk - Rivne comes into effect, therefore the rural hydroelectric power station is being closed.
  • 1971 - a resolution was adopted by the Central Committee of the CPSU and the Council of Ministers of the USSR on the construction of nuclear power plants in the western regions of Ukraine.
  • Beginning of 1975 - a search expedition of the Kiev branch of the Teploelektroproekt Institute arrives in Netishin, which carried out work on compiling options for placing NPPs in Rozhniatov, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Neteshin, Khmelnytsky regions.
  • April 17, 1975 - The USSR Ministry of Energy and Electrification decides on the feasibility of deploying a nuclear power plant in Neteshin, Khmelnytsky region.
  • December 10, 1975 - Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR No. 536 approved the act on the selection of a site for the construction of the Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant .
  • February 4, 1977 - The Ministry of Energy and Electrification of the USSR issued Order No. 46-a “On the Start of Work on the Construction of the Khmelnitsky NPP”.
  • 1977 - the building of the city begins.
  • February 8, 1978 - by the order of the Ministry of Energy and Electrification of the USSR under No. 59, the Construction Department of the Khmelnitsky Nuclear Power Plant was created, which to this day remains the main construction organization of Neteshin.
  • January 1981 - as a symbolic beginning of construction, the first soil bucket is excavated under the foundation pit for the foundation of the first power unit.
  • May 5, 1981 - by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR Neteshin village is assigned to the category of urban-type settlements.
  • October 1981 - laying of the first cubic meter of concrete foundation slab under the reactor.
  • July 1982 - the zero mark was passed on the construction of the main building.
  • August 21, 1984 - by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR No. 34, the town of Neteshin was assigned to the category of cities of regional subordination of the Slavutsky region [2] .
  • December 10, 1987 - physical start-up of power unit No. 1 was carried out.
  • December 22, 1987 - Block No. 1 is included in the network. Preparations have begun for the commissioning of other power units.
  • 1990 - construction of Khmelnitsky NPP power unit No. 2 is 95% completed and preparations for commissioning are being carried out, but at this time the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopts a moratorium on the construction of new nuclear power plants and the introduction of new capacities at existing stations.
  • October 21, 1993 - By Decree of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No. 3539-XII Neteshin was assigned to the category of cities of regional subordination.
  • 1993 - The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine lifts a moratorium on the construction of nuclear power plants.

21st Century

  • 2002 - according to the 2001 All-Ukrainian Population Census, 34,358 people live in the city.
  • 2004 - The second KhNPP power unit was launched.

Economics

As of January 1, 2001, 699 entrepreneurs and 311 legal entities carried out entrepreneurial activity in the city. Commercial activity is carried out by 400 enterprises of non-state form of ownership.

Industry

The city has 4 industrial enterprises. Among them, the largest enterprise in the region is the Khmelnitsky NPP ( Khmelnitsky NPP ), which is included in the Unified Energy System of Ukraine and is designed to cover the shortage of electric capacities in the Western region of Ukraine, the city’s heat and water supply, wastewater treatment, Atomremont OJSC, Priladsystem OJSC and OJSC Neteshinpishcheprom. The share of Khmelnitsky NPP in the total production of the region exceeds 30%.

Distribution of industrial production (2007):

  • release and distribution of electricity, heat and water - 99.3%;
  • production of machines and machine tools, equipment - 0.2%;

  • other - 0.2%.

Trade

In the city for 2008 there are 234 objects of trade, including: 65 shops, 70 departments for the sale of industrial and consumer goods, 2 shopping complexes, 20 shopping pavilions, 23 public catering facilities and 15 pharmacies.

Property

In the construction sector, 30 enterprises are employed, which number 1.5 thousand jobs. In total, in 2001, 78 residential buildings were built, containing 9332 apartments with a total area of ​​404.3 thousand m². More than 10 thousand m² of living space is rented annually.
