Toyouake ( Japanese 豊 明 市, と よ あ け し Toyouake-si ) is a satellite city of Nagoya in Japan , located in the central part of Aichi Prefecture on the banks of the Sakai River. It was founded on August 1, 1972 by providing the town with the status of a city. The city mainly consists of residential areas. The area of the city is 23.18 km² [1] , the population is 69,438 people (June 1, 2014) [2] , the population density is 2,995.60 people / km².
