CommuniGate Pro is a server platform for organizing e-mail , transmitting voice data through VoIP technology, instant messaging and collaboration automation . CommuniGate Pro software supports a variety of operating systems and works on both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

Features
The platform does not use relational database management systems , which are the main cause of failures in other mail systems . The software implementation is monolithic, the server is implemented as a single multithreaded application, plug-in script modules are not used. Integrated with Active Directory , built-in own proxy server . Cluster configurations can work in the "active - active" mode. Third-party programs can interact with the platform through the API .
Supports XIMSS , SMTP , SIP , WebRTC, XMPP , SMPP , IMAP , POP and RPOP , FTP , WebDAV , LDAP , SNMP protocols .
The platform comes with its own Pronto client ! implemented in alternatives on Flash and HTML5 and including mobile devices. Most clients of group work systems and mail programs can work with the platform using protocols supported by the server.

In 2005 and 2006, it was selected as the “product of the year” by the American publication Internet Telephony; in 2006, the Linux Journal awarded the CommuniGate Pro the Editors' Choice Award. In 2007 - “Product of the Year” in the nomination “Communication Solutions” according to Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC).
In Russia
The first Russian IP-telephony network of Sipnet operator was built on the basis of the CommuniGate Pro cluster platform [2] . Thanks to the use of CommuniGate Pro technologies, subscribers are given the opportunity to independently manage the routing of their calls in terms of price and quality.
In November 2006, a hardware-software complex based on the CommuniGate Pro universal communication server and Kraftway equipment was certified in Russia for transmitting voice information over a SIP protocol data network [3] . The complex is manufactured by Embi and is presented by several models [4] for various operating systems and processors.
In 2014, the launch of a platform for 250 thousand jobs in the Russian railways was reported [1] .
