Big bird of paradise [1] ( lat. Paradisaea guilielmi ) is a species of passerine birds from the family of birds of paradise ( Paradisaeidae ). Endemic of the Huen Peninsula in the east of New Guinea [2] [3] . The species is included in the International Red Book , but its status is assessed as being under the least threat. Problems are associated with logging , leading to a reduction in the habitat suitable for this species [4] .
