Seiro ( 聖 籠 町 Seiro: -mati ) is a village in Japan located in the north-eastern part of Niigata Prefecture ( Kitakambara County) on the shores of the Sea of Japan . It was founded in August 1977 by reorganizing the village of Seiro. The area of the city is 37.99 km² [1] , the population is 13,912 people (August 1, 2014) [2] , the population density is 366.20 people / km².
