Mitsuke ( 見附 市 Mitsuke-si ) is a city in Japan located in the central part of Niigata Prefecture . It was founded on March 31, 1954 by merging the village of Mitsuke with the villages of Niigata, Katsumaki and Uekitadani of the Minamiuonum County .
