Austin Day ( born Austin Daye ; born June 5, 1988 in Irvine , California ) is an American professional basketball player who plays in the positions of the heavy and light forward . He plays for the Umana Reyer basketball club.

Content
Career
He was selected by the 2009 NBA draft under the 15th number by the Detroit Pistons team. [1] Since a lockout was announced in the NBA, on September 23, 2011 he signed a contract with the Khimki club. The contract was designed for two months, in connection with the possible start of the season in the NBA. [2] On January 30, 2013, Day was sent to Memphis Grizzlies with Teyson Prince . In exchange, the club received Jose Calderon , and Rudy Gay went to the Toronto Raptors as part of a tripartite deal [3] . On August 1, 2013, Day signed a contract with Toronto. [four]
On February 20, 2014, Day was sold to the San Antonio Spurs , and in return the club received rights to Nando De Colo [5] .
