Arnold Mersk McKinney Möller ( Dat. Arnold Mærsk McKinney Møller ; July 13, 1913 - April 16, 2012 [3] ) - Danish entrepreneur, son of the founder of the AP Moller-Maersk Group shipbuilding company, Peter Möller , since 1940 participated in the management of the company, and in 1965 after the death of his father, he headed it and carried out direct management of the company until his 90th birthday in 2003 .

According to various estimates, Mersk was the wealthiest or second-largest Dane.
As part of his charity work, Mersk, in particular, fully funded the construction of the new building of the Copenhagen Opera House , which opened in 2004 .
December 15, 2000 Mersk was awarded the highest state award of Denmark - the Order of the Elephant , which for the entire 20th century received only a few people who are not among the heads of state and persons of royal blood. In addition, Mersk had various awards from Great Britain, Norway, Iceland, Japan and Thailand.
