Education in the 2nd floor. XIX - 1st floor. XX centuries

Rural education takes its roots back in the 70s of the XIX century, when the first school appeared in the village. Sloboda. Then it was called a two-year Ministerial Public Education School. The pre-revolutionary school building was built at the expense of the Ministry of Education . There were five departments: three in the first grade and two in the second. There were only three teachers in the school: one for the first division, the second for the second and third, the third for the fourth and fifth. The school had only five rooms. Of these, three were reserved for five departments, a teacher lived in one, and a small room was reserved for an office (that is, a teacher's office). The classroom occupied an area of about 40 square meters and had four windows.

Note that in the late XIX - early XX centuries. in the territory of the Sloboda volost at each church, parish schools were opened with the funds of parishioners.

After the revolution of 1917, some changes took place: the parish school was abolished, the Law of God was eliminated from teaching, the school was transformed into an elementary school. But the revolution did not prevent the development of education in Sloboda. Rather, the opposite. New schools opened, and the Sloboda elementary school in 1919 became 7-year-old.

In 1930, compulsory primary education was introduced in Sloboda. And after 9 years - secondary education , when in 1939 the Sloboda secondary school was opened. In the early years of the school, there were two 8th grade. They studied up to 80 people. Many students came from the recently opened 7 year olds. The school had a library with a small amount of fiction . Textbooks were sorely lacking. The school buffet almost did not work.

History of the Przhevalsky School

Creation

In 1938, it was decided to open a secondary school in Sloboda. Then, the forces of local and invited from Velizh workers began to build for her a new two-story building. By September 1939, the school opened. From 1939 until mid- 1941, school principals were: Pavel Trofimovich Vinogradov, Yakov Grigoryevich Grigoryev and Vasily Timofeevich Zaitsev. Young teachers arrived at the new school. Studying in high school was paid.

Post-war time

Until March 1946, the school was located in a neighboring village for two years. A building of six rooms, adapted for four classes, a teacher's room and a small director’s apartment was moved here from Yelsha. The remaining classes were located in rented premises. In 1946, a school was re-opened in Sloboda. Children studied in it in two shifts. The director of the secondary school was Fyodor Terentyevich Smirnov, he was replaced in 1947 by Ivan Yakovlevich Moiseenko, who had a higher education.

The teaching staff tried to teach students the necessary knowledge. The results of their work were not slow to affect. In 1948, there were 11 graduates, including two medalists: Evgeny Trubilina (now Gavrilenkova E.P.) , who graduated from school with a gold medal, and Vera Krasnova - with a silver medal. I did not reach the medal a little because of the requirements that existed at that time, Vasily Gavrilenkov , who graduated from school by one five. All graduates of 1948 then received higher education.

The end of the 40s and 50s were marked by significant positive changes in the development of the school. By September 1, 1948, a three-class building was built, which housed part of the elementary school, and in 1950 a new, 2-story building was built on the site of the school building burnt down during the war. The new building through ObLONO was allocated the necessary training equipment. Somewhat later, the school received an electric engine and a radio center . Now, once a week, school radio broadcasts were held, later called the "Brigantine."

In the first half of the 50s, school workshops for three rooms were built, and in 1958 construction of a school boarding school began. Potato , other vegetables , and strawberries were grown at the school site and in the nursery. The grown-up was sold, and the money went to the fund for helping children with severe needs.

In connection with the appearance of a school boarding school , which housed about 50 people, the dropout rate of students decreased slightly, very significant in the mid-50s. And for the good organization of the boarding school, the Regional Executive Committee awarded the school with a T-28 tractor . However, as before, the school did not have premises or a material base. Everywhere they looked for equipment, specialists.

In the 60s there was an increase in academic performance. At this time, more and more students are entering higher education institutions (according to this indicator, the school took 1st place in the district ). More and more graduates are awarded gold and silver medals . And for many 10 years now, the school can truly be proud of its graduates and teachers who taught them.
