Moshkovo village settlement is a municipality in the Torzhok district of the Tver region . On the territory of the settlement there are 40 settlements.

The center of the settlement is the village of Moshki .
It was founded in 2005 and included the territories of Moshkovsky and Bulatnikovsky rural districts.
By the law of the Tver region dated April 17, 2017 No. 23-ЗО [1] , through their unification, the municipalities of Moshkovsky and Tredubsky rural settlements were transformed into the Moshkovsky rural settlement.

- Location: southeastern part of the Torzhok region
- Borders:
- in the north - with Pirogovsky joint venture ,
- in the east - with the Kalinin district , Mednovsky joint venture
- in the south - with the Tredubsky joint venture and Vysokovsky joint venture
- in the west - with the Sucromlene joint venture .

The river of Darkness flows in the east of the settlement, its tributary Rachaina crosses the settlement from west to east. The railway Likhoslavl- Torzhok- Rzhev and the highway Torzhok - Vysokoe - Bernovo - Staritsa run from north to south.

According to the 2002 census, there were 1,412 people (337 in the Bulatnikovsky and 1,075 in the Moshkovsky rural district), as of 01.01.2008 - 1,406 people.

History
In the XI-XIV centuries. the territory of the settlement was on the border of Novgorod land with Vladimir-Suzdal, then the Principality of Tver . In the XIV century it was annexed to the Grand Duchy of Moscow .
- After the reforms of Peter I, the territory of the settlement included:
- in 1708-1727 to the St. Petersburg (Ingermanland 1708-1710 biennium) province, Tver province,
- in 1727-1775 to the Novgorod province , Tver province ,
- in 1775-1796 to Tver governorship , Novotorzhsky district,
- in 1796-1929 to the Tver province , Novotorzhsky district ,
- in 1929-1935 to the Western region , Vysokovsky district,
- in 1935-1963 to the Kalinin region , Vysokovsky district ,
- in 1963-1990 to the Kalinin region , Torzhok district ,
- since 1990 in the Tver region , Torzhok district .
In the middle of the XIX-beginning of the XX centuries, most of the villages of the settlement belonged to the Moshkovsky volost of Novotorzhsky district .
