Creation History
The section from the main highway (station Reshetnikovo ) to the city of Konakovo was laid in the mid-1930s. Peat mining was being carried out at that time near Konakovsky Mokh station. The railway branch opened in 1937 , until 1966 the main course ran into the city center. In 1966, reconstruction and electrification of the branch was completed, as a result of which instead of the old Konakovo station, the current Konakovo state district power station was built, but the name of the old station is used as an unofficial form on the route signs of electric trains today.
