The list of the World Heritage of UNESCO in the Republic of Moldova contains 1 name (for 2014 ), this is 0.1% of the total number (1121 for 2019). The only property is listed according to cultural criteria. In addition, as of 2014, 2 more objects on the territory of Moldova are among the candidates for inclusion in the World Heritage List [1] . The Republic of Moldova ratified the Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage on September 23, 2002 [2] . The first object located on the territory of Moldova was listed in 2005 at the 29th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee .

Excluded Objects
Earlier, the object “Cultural landscape of Old Orhei ” (No. 5238 ) was excluded (removed from the nomination [4] ) from the Preliminary List of World Heritage Sites of UNESCO. In 2014, this object was re-included in the Tentative List entitled “Archaeological Landscape of Old Orhei ” (already without criterion vii ).
