Geographical position
The village of Sukhaya Kamenka is located on the banks of the Sukhaya Kamenka River , which flows 2.5 km into the Seversky Donets River (the right tributary), and upstream it adjoins the village of Tikhotskoye . At a distance of 1.5 km from the village is the highway E 40 ( M-03 ).
Name Origin
The village got its name from the name of the river flowing through it, which dries up almost completely in particularly hot years.

- Mass grave of Soviet soldiers. 1708 soldiers were buried.
- The remains of the estate and the manor park of M.V. Repin, a relative of I.E. Repin , who later belonged to Colonel Tikhotsky, a hero of the Caucasian War, in whose honor the nearby village of Tikhotsky was named.
