Pioneer Park - a park in the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg (the municipal district of Piskaryovka ), limited to Piskaryovsky Avenue , Bestuzhevskaya Street , Zamshina Street , Mechnikov Avenue . Opened in 1968. Area 12 ha. The name was given because next to it (2 Mechnikova Ave.), since 1973, the House of Pioneers (now the House of Children and Youth Creativity of the Kalinin District) has been located. The park was equipped with a children's play town and a platform for pioneer rulers.

The Pioneer Park was also sometimes referred to as the square located south of Bestuzhevskaya Street, which was later named after the Academician Sakharov Park ( Finland District ).
