History
On July 15, 1997, the first gas station of the Azpetrol company was opened in Baku on Tbilissky Prospekt - this is how its activity began. By the end of the year, the number of gas stations built reached 7, then this number, rapidly growing over the next years, reached 86 gas stations by today. 81 of them sell gasoline and diesel fuel , the remaining 5 sell liquefied petroleum gases .

Today, Azpetrol is the leader among companies engaged in retail sale of fuel in Azerbaijan [1] . The gas stations operated by the company make up only 9% of the total number of gas stations in the country, but despite this, the share of Azpertrol products sold in this market sector is over 50%.
