History
Krapivino village was founded in 1732 . In 1911, 725 people lived, 142 households. There was a parish school , 5 shops, a church. In 1926, 2481 residents, 558 households.
Until 1924, Krapivino was the center of the volost , from 1924 to 1963 and from 1967 the district center.
In 1958, Krapivino was transformed into the urban village of Krapivinsky.
In 1968, the population was 5.8 thousand inhabitants.
