Environmental conditions
The relief of the South-West is formed by the Teplostansky Upland : the territory is well above the rest of the territory of Moscow, towering over the edge of the Moscow River at 80 m in the Sparrow Hills area and at 130 m in Teplom camp and Narrow . In combination with the wind rose (here, as in the entire Moscow region, western transport prevails) and the absence of large-scale production, this makes this area one of the most favorable for living in terms of air condition.
Building History
According to the General Plan for the Reconstruction of Moscow in 1935, the development of the territory from Kuntsev in the west to Lenin-Dachnoye (the current name Tsaritsyno ) in the south was planned. However, construction began only in the mid -1940s , after World War II .
A significant part of the South-West building was formed due to the construction of the Main Building of Moscow State University on the Sparrow Hills ( 1948-1953 ) and the laying and development of Leninsky , Lomonosovsky , University Avenue and Vernadsky Avenue .
In the 1950s , mass construction began on the site of the former village of Cheryomushki (with the expansion of buildings to the south, the territory of Novy Cheryomushki was formed ): here most of the territory was built up with Khrushchev houses . In the 1960s and the 1970s, the construction of the former villages and villages of Matveyevskoe , Ramenki , Ochakovo , Teply Stan, Zyuzino , Belyaevo , Bogorodskoe , Konkovo , Derevlyovo , Yasenevo began .
South-West became the base of experimental residential construction, which was carried out on the territory of Troparyov and Chertanov .
