Geography and Hydrology
The length of the river is 107 km, the catchment area is 1220 km² [2] .
The source of the river is located on the Luga Upland , north of Lake Dubenskoye near the villages of Red Dubok and Tvorozhkovo Maryinsky volost of the Strugo-Krasnensky district [3] .
From the source, the river flows mainly in a northwest direction. At the village of Yukhnovo, Sikovitsky volost of the same region, the river changes direction mainly to the west with bends, flowing through the territory of the Pervomaisk and Polnov volosts of the Gdovsk district .
From the village of Yamm, the river is navigable, where it also passes through the flowing lakes Uzhinskoe , Dolgoe and Velino (in the territory of the Samolvovskaya volost in the same region), after which the river turns south-west, flowing through the territory of the Samolvovskaya and border Spitsinskoye volosts in the same region, and flows in Zhelchensky Bay of Lake Peipsi.
