Coloninae (lat.) - subfamily of Coleoptera from the family Leiodidae [1] . One of the least studied families of polyphage beetles in Russia.

Systematics
The family, the leiodides , suffered significant changes; foreign and domestic authors combined (and some still do) the beetles of the subfamily Cholevinae and Coloninae into a separate family of Catopidae .
