History
The station was opened in 1975 as part of the Oktyabrskoye Pole - Planernaya section, after commissioning of which there were 103 stations in the Moscow Metro.
In 1991, it was proposed to change the name to "Schukino" [1] .
Lobbies and Transplants
The station has two exits to the city:
- The southern exit is equipped with three LT-5 escalators. There are turnstiles at the entrance and exit.
- The north exit is equipped with a staircase. There are turnstiles at the entrance and exit.
There are no ground lobbies. Exit through the underpasses to the streets of Marshal Vasilevsky , Academician Bochvar , Schukinskaya , Novoshchukinskaya . The walls of the underground lobby are decorated with pink marble .
Near the northern exit is the final stop of a large number of bus routes and a large tram hub. This is due to the fact that prior to the opening of the Strogino station, Schukinskaya was actually the only metro station accessible to residents of the huge residential area of Strogino , while not being within walking distance from the district.
Design and Design
"Schukinskaya" is a shallow pillar station (depth - 13 m) with three spans. The authors of the project are N. A. Alyoshina , N. K. Samoilova and M. N. Alekseev. The name is for the Shchukino area in which the station is located.
At the station - 80 reinforced concrete columns with a step of 4 m, trimmed with gray-yellow marble "gazgan" and decorated with aluminum inserts. The track walls are decorated with corrugated sheets of aluminum anodized to bronze 1 m wide and 3.9 m high [2] (such a finish was first applied in the Moscow metro precisely at Schukinskaya; the track walls at Vladykino station have a similar finish) and are decorated decorative panel depicting Moscow new buildings of the 1970s. The floor is lined with gray and pink-gray granite slabs with black labradorite inserts in the form of straight and broken stripes.
Checkout halls are made in a single color scheme. When facing walls and columns, marble "Burovschina" was used. Decorative grids are anodized in copper color. The floors are made of gray-pink granite of the Vuoksa deposit [2] .
