Ore (bay)

Rudnaya Bay - a bay , Dalnegorsky urban district, Primorsky Krai , Russia, the western coast of the Sea of ​​Japan . The southern entrance cape is Cape Briner. Open to the east, protrudes into the mainland for 1.2 km. The width at the entrance is 2.7 km. Depth up to 18 m. Until 1972, it was called Tetyuhe Bay. The surface area is 2.85 km² [1] .

The village of Rudnaya Pristan is located on the west coast of the bay. In the village there is a metallurgical workshop of the Far Eastern Mining and Metallurgical Combine ( lead treatment), which creates an unfavorable environmental situation. According to a study by the Blacksmith Institute , the Rudnaya River Valley is on the list of the most polluted in the world [2] [3] .

The maritime communication of the Dalnegorsky district of Primorsky Krai is carried out through the bay. There is an oil pier on the north coast of the bay. On the south coast there is a small harbor "Bucket".

The bay is a place of beach relaxation and bathing for residents of the Dalnegorsky urban district.
