Babchintsy ( Ukrainian: Babchintsi ) is a village in Ukraine , located in the Chernevets district of the Vinnitsa region . The center of the Babchinetsky district of the Mogilev-Podolsky district (from March 7, 1923 to February 3, 1931 ) and the Babchinets volost of the Yampol district of the Podolsk province , became part of the Russian Empire in 1793.

Content
History
According to the 1897 census , 6,702 people lived in the village (3,382 men, 3,320 women), of which 5,797 were Orthodox.
In 1905, there were 1,452 yards (6,472 people), rural municipality , the Orthodox Church, a one-class rural school, a parish school , and a water mill.
During the Soviet period, the central estates of the collective farms “The Way to Communism” and “40 Years of October” (named after Voroshilov) were located in the village. Since August 1941, the village was under Romanian occupation.
Religion
In the village are St. Nicholas and St. Pokrovsky churches of the Chernevets deanery of the Mogilyov-Podolsk diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church [1] .
