History
From March 1796 to March 1797, the Russian commander A. V. Suvorov was in Tulchin, here he wrote his work “The Science of Winning ”. At this time, in the village of Timanivka, Suvorov’s soldiers dug up and arranged wells.
During the Great Patriotic War in 1941-1944. the village was occupied by the advancing German-Romanian troops (and included in the " Transnistria ").
The population of the 2001 census was 1942 people.
