History
Verbovey was a provincial city of Ushitsky district of Podolsk province of the Russian Empire . In 1892, the population was 2181 people [1] .
The population for the 2001 census was 628 people.
Religion
In the village operates the Holy Protection Church of the Murovanokurilovets deanery of the Mogilyov-Podolsk diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church [2] .
