Temples
In 1703 an Orthodox church was built. It was wooden, 6 arshin (4.25 m) wide and 15 arshin (10.65 m) in length with a separate bell tower. The temple was dedicated in the name of St. John the Divine . The iconostasis in it was a boardwalk, two-tier, with icons of Greek writing. This temple existed until 1873.
Due to the dilapidation and closeness of that church, the construction of a new church was started (also in the name of St. John the Divine), which began in 1867 and was completed in 1873. The new temple was wooden on a stone base, the bell tower was built along with the temple, the whole building was covered with an iron roof. The construction of the temple cost 7200 rubles and was made exclusively at the expense of the parishioners. In 1879, lightning struck the roof of the bell tower, beating off part of the cornice, shuttering, smashing glass doors leading from the bell tower to the church, and damaging the frames of the local icon of St. Nicholas . The iconostasis in the temple was three-tiered, decorated with golden carvings on a bluish background. In 1896, the temple was subjected to a major overhaul: the top and drum of the temple were dismantled before the outer cornice, the creases of the walls were made of new bars, the drum and top were installed back, without changing the plan.
There were also wooden mooring rooms, built by parishioners in 1862. The parish school was opened in 1862 and was located in a separate building. After the revolution in 1926, the temple was destroyed, and all church property was nationalized and transferred to the collective farm. In place of the temple built warehouses.
In 1992, by decision of the villagers and the village council, the construction of a new brick church in honor of the holy Apostle John the Theologian began, the construction of which lasted 15 years. Since 2007, regular worship services are held in the temple.
