In length reached up to 1.3 meters. In the structure of the skeleton of this reptile, there are many features common to dinosaurs, for example, the forepaws of the senile were almost half the length of the hind legs. Light and probably very nimble, a senile could move on two hind legs no worse than on all four. He ate apparently small reptiles and insects. At the same time, the insanity lacks a hole characteristic of all dinosaurs in the pelvic cavity of acetabulum. Based on these characteristics, the genus was placed in the treasure of Dinosauriformes, that is, it is the closest relative of the dinosaurs.
