Electro-hydraulic arc power regulator is a system of automatic control of arc burning, which ensures the maintenance of a given value of the active power introduced into the furnace, implemented by covering the main loop of negative feedback of four mutually nested subsystems, including:
- software-adaptive electric mode regulator,
- hydraulic mechanism for moving the electrode,
- proportional electro-hydraulic converter (power steering),
- power supply source.
