Maria Joseph Germengilde von Liechtenstein ( German: Maria Josepha Hermengilde von Liechtenstein , April 13, 1768 - August 8, 1845 ) is the daughter of Prince Franz Joseph Lichtenstein , who married Nikolai von Esztergazi on September 15, 1783. Her husband became the head of the Esztergazi clan ( Fürst ) in 1794.

She, like her husband, patronized the arts, especially Joseph Haydn . In response, Haydn from 1796 to 1802 annually to her name day (September 8 - Mary’s Christmas) created a new mass. Thus were created Heiligmesse (1796), Paukenmesse (1796/97), Nelsonmesse (1798), Theresienmesse (1799), Schöpfungsmesse (1801) and Harmoniemesse (1802).
In 1785, she gave birth to a son, Paul Anton, and in 1788 a daughter, Leopoldin.
