Biography
Club career
Pupil of the Youth Sports School Happy, Kiev region. He began his professional career at the Borisfen club. He made his debut on July 31, 1997 in a match against Cementnik Chord (0: 1). The team spent 145 matches and scored 3 goals. In November 2000, he played 2 matches in the Belotserkovsky “ Ros ”. In December 2003, received the status of a free agent [2] . In February 2004 he moved to Odessa " Chernomorets " [3] . In the summer of 2004 he moved to the Poltava " Vorskla ". He spent 3 years in the team and played 81 matches. He also spent several matches as a team captain.
In the summer of 2007 he moved to the Simferopol Tavria [4] . Stoyan became famous after the marijuana smoking scandal. After the match with Dnipropetrovsk “ Dnipro ” (0: 1) [5] , they conducted a doping control, a sample taken from Stoyan showed the presence of marijuana in the body. The case was transferred to the control and disciplinary committee, and he decided to disqualify Stoyan for four months, starting on May 23, 2008 [6] . Denis did not deny his guilt, in an interview he said that he was at his birthday and there he was given the chance to try hookah for the first time in his life; he claimed that he did not know that there was marijuana [7] . He played for the youth team of Ukraine until the age of 21 . Together with the youth team, he reached the final of the European Championship in 2000 in Germany until the age of 19 .
