September 9, 2009 - The newspaper Respublika - Delovoye Obozreniye is suing BTA Bank . The court ordered the newspaper to pay 60 million tenge to BTA Bank for causing moral damage. The reason for the lawsuit was the article “Radish is not sweeter” about the situation in BTA Bank, published in the March 6, 2009 edition . The plaintiff focused on the following lines - “As for BTA itself, it seems that it is doomed. The largest private bank in Kazakhstan and the CIS, built as an international business corporation, could not stand state control and management ”and“ By the way, there are persistent conversations in BTA itself that some of the new managers really want to bankrupt the bank, because they understand that they will earn more not on rehabilitation procedures, but on bankruptcy and debt restructuring ”, in his opinion, from March 13 to March 31, 2009, it was because of this article that the outflow of deposits in the amount of 6 billion 770 million tenge occurred ^[7] .

September 18, 2009 - The newspaper Respublika - Delovoy Obozreniye went on sale under a different name - “My Republic - facts, events, people” ^[4] .

February 18, 2010 - The newspaper Respublika - Delovoy Obozreniye is allowed to print, but it is forbidden to sell ^[8] .

April 15, 2010 - The Voice of the Republic newspaper published an interview with Julian Assange , who provided the publication with a database of Kazakhstan, nearly 7,000 pages of secret dispatches by American diplomats ^{[10] [11] [12]} .

In 2010, employees of the National Security Committee of Karaganda came to the points to distributors of the newspaper, and demanded that sellers not distribute the newspaper "Voice of the Republic" ^[13] .
