Andrew Glyn ( Eng. Andrew Glyn , June 30, 1943 - December 22, 2007 ) is an English Marxist economist and professor at Oxford University who became famous for his studies of capitalism at the height of the crises of the 1970s and 1980s. In his youth, he participated in the anti-nuclear movement, in the 1970-1980s he was an activist in the “Militant” trend, section of the Committee for the Workers International , in Oxford. He was an adviser to the National Union of Miners (UK) and the International Labor Organization .
