Biography
Kremenchuk Andrei was born in 1973 in Gorky . Art education began at SPbGUKI, at the faculty of “Restoration, conservation and storage of works of DPI from the museum metal”. After the third year, he enters the Vladimirsky Musical College at the faculty of "folk choral conducting." There begins to collect folklore of Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod regions. From 1992 to 2002 engaged in expeditionary activities and collecting folklore of the village of Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod region on Lake Svetloyar . During this period, portraying the carriers of folklore and their place of residence, shows interest in photography.
In the late nineties, enrolling in one of the German universities, he moved to Germany, where he lives to this day. Continuing ethnographic research, Kremenchuk studies Slavic studies at the University of Greifswald , after which he devotes himself to the visual arts and transferred to Hamburg to the Higher School of Applied Sciences - HAW Hamburg to the faculty of kommunikationsdesign. There he studies photography with Professor Uta Mahler. A graduate of the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig (HGB) Tina Bara photography class.
Recognition abroad received the work "No Direction Home", the Russian name "Near your house", published in 2009. The works of Kremenchuk are characterized by a narrative, emotional style of presentation, a conceptual study of topics, their national character. From 2009 to 2011, he is a member of the Berlin Photo Agency OSTKREUZ .
It is published and collaborates with leading world publications. In 2011, he acts as a book publisher.
