Career
In clubs
He began playing in the youth teams of Wellington United and Miramar Rangers clubs, in 1993, on the recommendation of his compatriot Winton Rufer , who was then in favor of the Bremen Werder Bremen , transferred to the second team of this club. After spending 3 seasons in the double, he replaced several teams of the lower German leagues: Osnabruck , Emden Kickers and Lubeck . In 2000, he returned to his homeland, where he played 4 seasons for the Football Kings club, which played in the Australian National Soccer League .
Team
As part of the New Zealand national team, he took part in two Confederations Cups ( 1999 , 2003 ), won the OFC Cup of Nations twice ( 1998 , 2002 ), and in 2002 was also recognized as the most valuable player of that tournament.
