Content
Story
The film tells about twins like Viola and Sebastian, separated from a shipwreck and beached in the mysterious country of Illyria, like two drops of water. Each assumes that the other is not saved. To survive in an unknown area, Viola disguises himself as a brother. Sebastian, who looks so similar that they are sometimes confused with his sister , soon finds himself in positions with misunderstandings.

Critical consensus reads: “Director Trevor Nunn makes several dubious choices, but his star cast - including Helena Bonham Carter, Ben Kingsley and Nigel Hawthorne - more than good in the material " [1] .
James Berardinelli writes: “In Twelve Night,” directed by Trevor Nunn (Lady Jane), follows in Bran’s footsteps, adapting the play to the screen. However, although this picture does not have the same level of style or energy, which is manifested in many ways by Ado About Nothing , a good game and clear interpretation keep it afloat. ” Berardinelli calls it "continuous entertainment" [2] .
