The constitution of Liechtenstein was developed by the constitutional commission with the consent of the prince; it entered into force on October 5, 1921 . The constitution was adopted after the First World War in the course of democratic reforms, as a result of which direct parliamentary elections were introduced and the rights of citizens were expanded. For 88 years, the Liechtenstein Constitution has been amended and supplemented many times, but all these amendments did not fundamentally change its content [1] .
The constitution consists of 9 chapters. In addition, two letters of Prince Johann II are addressed to the text of the Constitution, addressed to the head of the Government and Prince Carl, the princeβs nephew [2] .
