Story
In the news, Kent Brockman announces that the Springfield Isotopes team has acquired an outstanding baseball player, Buck Mitchell, and the whole Simpson family goes to the stadium to watch the game. The new player really shows the high class of the game, but only until his wife, popular singer Tabitha Weeks, performs in a break with the musical number. In a very frank costume, she sings a song of frivolous content, and this makes Buck unsettled. Throughout the subsequent game, he constantly misses, which causes displeasure of the fans. To defuse the situation, on the stadium television screen randomly shown married couples who came to the stadium and sitting in the stands. The couple who got on the screen, according to the conditions of the game, should kiss. Pan to Homer with Marge , and they kiss. It sees the entire stadium, and Buck Mitchell as well.
That evening Buck comes to visit the Simpsons. He explains that he does not approve of his wife’s musical career, and because of this, his marriage has serious problems. At the stadium, looking at kissing Marge and Homer, he decided that their marriage was probably happy, and therefore he asks them to be their marriage counselors with Tabita. Marge doubts that marriage with Homer may be a role model, but nevertheless agrees to help.
Thanks to the efforts of the Simpsons (mostly Marge), the relationship between Tabita and Buck normalizes little by little. As a result, Buck is back in shape, and Tabitha continues to perform on stage.
After one of the concerts Tabitha, Homer enters her dressing room to congratulate her on her success. In gratitude, Tabitha gives him a chicken leg and asks, since his hands are already smeared with fat, to massage her neck. The groans of bliss that Homer makes while eating a chicken leg are heard from behind the door of his wife’s dressing room by Buck Mitchell. Having misunderstood them, he bursts into the locker room and arranges a scene of jealousy there. So Marge’s efforts to save Tabitha and Buck’s marriage are wasted.
Homer wants to reconcile Buck and Tabitha by all means, but Marge, unhappy with his behavior, refuses to help him. However, when some time later, Tabitha informs her that she decided to part with Buck, Marge dissuades her.
During the next baseball game, Homer hijacks the Duff airship and writes a declaration of love on his scoreboard, allegedly on Tabitha’s name. Buck sees the inscription and, inspired, with such force he hits the ball, that it knocks down the airship. The airship falls on the field, and Buck flees to save his wife, but finds only Homer, whom he wants to beat. But at this time Tabitha appears on the stadium television screen and, this time already for real, confesses her love to her husband. It saves their marriage.
