The Church of Nanortalika ( eng. Nanortalik Church ) is a Danish Lutheran church in the city of Nanortalik , in southern Greenland in the Arctic .

Lutheran faith was brought to the island by Norwegian Lutheran missionary Hans Egede , who was looking for the first Viking settlements to preach in them.
