Biography

In 1927 she graduated from the directing department of the State Customs Committee - the State College of Cinematography (future VGIK ). She worked as an assistant director in the films “One of Many” by A. Khodatayev and “ Moscow in October ” by Boris Barnet [1] . In 1928 she made her debut as a director of the popular science film “War of the Imperialist War” [2] . In 1929, at the Mezhrabpomfilm film studio, she directed the feature film Crime of Ivan Karavaev according to her own script. Since 1932 - director of the Mosfilm film studio.

During the war, Tatyana Lukashevich worked at the Voentechfilm studio, where she directed a number of documentary and popular science films. As a second director, she participated in the work “ The Court of Honor ” and “ The Conspiracy of the Doomed ”.

However, fame and feature films brought her own: “ Foundling ”, “ Wedding with a dowry ”, “ Certificate of maturity ”, “ Blind musician ” and others brought her fame. Most of its tapes are dedicated to children or adolescents who are just entering adulthood.

She died in 1972 at the 67th year of her life, and was buried at the Vostryakovsky cemetery in Moscow [3] .
