Egor Valeryevich Meshcheryakov ( Belorussian. Yagor Valer'evich Meshcharako , October 9, 1976 , Minsk ) is a Belarusian basketball player who played as a heavy forward . Assistant to the head coach of the national team of Belarus .

To graduate, Yegor Meshcheryakov decided to suspend the player’s career in the 2010/2011 season [1] .

On February 3, 2018, Yegor Meshcheryakov was inducted into the Hall of Fame of George Washington University [2] .

Coaching career

In December 2014, Meshcheryakov was appointed to the post of sports director of Tsmoki-Minsk [3] . Since 2016, he has been working as deputy chairman of the Belarusian Basketball Federation and as an assistant to the head coach of the national team of Belarus [4] . Since September 2018, he has been an assistant to the head coach of the Tsmoki-Minsk club [5] . In January 2019, he was dismissed from the team along with head coach Alexander Krutikov for unsatisfactory results [6] .

  • Silver medalist of the Russian Championship 2006/07 .
  • Silver medalist of the championship of Belarus 1992/93.
