Mountain hummingbird

Mountain hummingbird [2] ( lat. Lafresnaya lafresnayi ) is a South American species of hummingbird birds from the subfamily Trochilinae within the hummingbird family ( Trochilidae ), allocated to the monotypic genus Eugenes [3] . These birds inhabit tropical and subtropical mountain humid forests and shrubs; found at an altitude of 1900 to 3600 meters above sea level [4] . The body length of the birds is ~ 9.7 cm, weight - ~ 5.3 grams [5] .
